Design Brief
Founded after hitting a 10 year milestone working as a live technician and studio engineer, Jim Shemilt decided it was time to open up his skills and experience. Greenstone Audio provide everything that independent artists, internationally recognised brands or touring industry legends need. Identifiable for big sounding mixes that aim to retain the organic raw energy and passion of his collaborators, Jim has made a name for himself specialising in full, rich sounding music, energetic and dynamic live mixes with slick, efficient and personable service. With a great eye for detail, a superb ear for tonality and the knowledge and experience of how to get results fast, Jims approach is straight forward. Great preparation makes a great product.
Result
Greenstone came to us looking for a logo and identity that resonated with their mission; to provide top quality audio production to everyone. Due to the wide ranging services and clientele Greenstone work with, they needed a logo that reflected what they are all about. Channeling their bold, dynamic and raw energy, we worked on a variety of concepts that brought together these elements, whilst still being fresh and modern. The final concept Greenstone chose uses 2 complementary, bold typefaces that evoke a sense of authority, dynamism and presence. Accompanied with a unique icon that reflects sound waves and their transformation into something bigger and more bombastic, Greenstone’s identity was born.
